Gateway To Wool Production

Towalba Merino Stud is located in the Central West of NSW, 8 km North of Peak Hill.
Operated by brothers Garry and Warick Kopp the stud is renowned for producing some of the most productive sheep in Australia. Large frames and productive skins growing soft crimpy wool makes this bloodline a must-have for the serious merino breeder.

Each year rams are sold at the On Property Auction in September and at most stud stock sales in the Eastern states of Australia.

In 2010 Towalba registered their Poll Merino Stud and now offer their clients the same quality breeding values in their Poll selection.

The Towalba Merino Stud is part of the Midstate Merino Field Day group.

Grade Rams available year round by appointment.

Qld State Sheep Show 2017

A solid performance by our team at the Qld State Sheep Show in Charleville.
The time to shine was to be in the Groups when the whole team carried the consistency of wool cut, wool quality and frame. This proved too hard for the others to go around, winning the Pen of Three Ewes, Pen of Three Rams and the Merino Breeders Group of three rams and two ewes.
